Coping with Perimenopausal Challenges: Adjusting your lifestyle and relationships
Scientific Cafe: Coping with Perimenopausal Challenges: Adjusting your lifestyle and relationships - join us for a CIHR sponsored Scientific Cafe to discuss. Click here for more details and to register.
Stress is a major factor in perimenopausal hot flushes, sleep disturbances and mood issues. Relationships can provide support but can also be a source of stress.
Women troubled by perimenopausal symptoms may need to change their own expectations of what they can accomplish - finding ways to do less can be challenging! We'll talk about how a woman's relationships and expectations may increase stress levels - we'll provide a forum to share strategies for re-negotiating responsibilities and re-evaluating priorities.
Join us for a free and informal discussion on these topics, guided by a panel of women's health experts. You don't need a science degree, just an interest in learning and discussing the topic.
WHERE: Wicked Cafe, 1399 West 7th Ave (corner of Hemlock and 7th Ave)
Light refreshments and lively discussion will be served!!
